As a strategic, SACE-registered educator and high-performance rugby coach with 25 years of extensive experience in athletic development, technical blueprint design, and team culture building, I am confident in my ability to elevate your rugby program to elite competitive standards.
My professional background includes high-level coaching roles across prominent institutions and academies. Most recently, I serve as a Backline and Skills Coach and Performance Analyst at St David’s Marist Inanda, and as Head Coach for the U/14 and U/15 teams at Curro Hazeldean High School. Previously, I held the position of Director of Rugby and Head of Rugby at Pretoria North High School, where I oversaw comprehensive performance analyses, coaching education, and tactical development. My leadership also extended internationally as the Head Coach of the Senior Team for Lousa Rugby Club in Portugal, as well as serving as Backline and Skills Coach and Head of Performance Analysis at the Rugby Travel Academy.
My coaching philosophy is underpinned by strong formal qualifications and specialized knowledge in sport science. I hold a Baccalaureus Societatis Scientiae in Sport Psychology from the University of Pretoria and an Advanced Diploma in Business and Sport Management from the London School of Business, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Furthermore, I am a certified World Rugby Level 2 Coach and Educator, possess a World Rugby Level 1 Sevens coaching certificate, and have trained under elite global mentors, including Mike Penistone, Swys du Bruin, and Laurie Mains.
